iPhone SpringBoard: ‘Live’ Calendar Icon

Perhaps you already know this, but for me it’s a news:

The icon of your iPhone’s native application – Calendar – on the SpringBoard is ‘live’, which means the date and the weekday in it are actually the same as what day and which weekday today really is.  See the screenshot below:

BTW, i wonder why the icon of Clock is not ‘live’   :-(
